Titebond 811 Wood Flooring Adhesive – 20 oz. Sausage
Titebond 811 Advantage Wood Flooring Adhesive combines the troweling ease of a water-based adhesive with the strength of a polyurethane product. Its special “non-slump” formula requires less adhesive per square foot for cost-savings. Installers can wet lay it (rather than dry lay or flash it), and begin seating boards immediately after troweling the adhesive, reducing overall installation time. Titebond 811 is developed to work with Titebond moisture control systems, according to the company.
The practical sausage pack can simplify flooring installation, too, said the company. The packs are easy to transport, open and extrude from. Installers can either trowel or spread the adhesive, or they can use a gun delivery system, available with several nozzles to apply it in tight areas. They can also use the handy sausage pack to provide additional strength reinforcement in nail-down high traffic areas, as an alternative to face nailing, to replace boards or to install closeout rows, trim and stair treads.
