About Bjelin

Bjelin’s roots trace back to the Pervan family in Viken, Sweden, where Välinge Innovation was founded in 1993 and changed the flooring industry with the invention of the first mechanical click floor.

That breakthrough led to the creation of Pervanovo Invest AB, a family-owned company that turned these patented technologies into large-scale manufacturing under the Bjelin name.

The company now operates across Sweden and Croatia, where generations of skilled craftspeople work with Slavonic oak sourced from the FSC certified Spačva forest, one of Europe’s largest continuous oak forests.

Woodura Hardened Wood Flooring

Woodura™ is a patented technology developed to solve the long-standing limitations of traditional hardwood.

Instead of relying on thick solid boards, Woodura uses an advanced compression process that hardens the surface of real wood, unlocking greater performance while preserving the natural character of the material.

This next-generation approach redefines what real wood flooring can achieve.

Planks connect with 5G Dry, a click joint with an integrated water barrier along the seam.

As the boards lock, the barrier compresses to seal the joint and keep spills from reaching the Compositek core or the subfloor.

The system is developed to pass the ISO topical moisture test, installs quickly without glue or sealants, and allows boards to be removed and replaced while keeping the connection stable.

Woodura™ is a patented technology developed to solve the long-standing limitations of traditional hardwood.

Instead of relying on thick solid boards, Woodura uses an advanced compression process that hardens the surface of real wood, unlocking greater performance while preserving the natural character of the material.

This next-generation approach redefines what real wood flooring can achieve.

Each plank is built using a layered construction that fuses a natural wood surface with a high-density wood-based powder layer and a moisture-resistant Compositek core.

The Compositek core is an engineered wood composite specifically developed to resist moisture absorption and internal swelling, giving the plank dimensional stability that traditional HDF cores cannot achieve.

During production, heat and pressure bond the surface and core together to create a hardened transition zone that increases surface density and locks the structure into a stable, long-lasting form.

This advanced internal engineering prevents warping and maintains the structural integrity of the floor over time.
