- Where to Install this Floor: Any Grade – Engineered hardwood floors can be installed at any grade level. It’s especially ideal for below-grade spaces like basements.
- How to Install this Floor:
- Floating: Unlike traditional solid hardwood strips, a floating floor isn’t nailed down. Instead, the planks are either glued or snapped together, sitting atop a 1/8-inch thick layer of foam layered on the subfloor, but not directly adhered to it. Instructions
