Superior Heritage Wire-Brushed Ash Hardwood Natural – 3/4″ x 6″ is engineered flooring milled in Canada. The true Baltic birch plywood core is built to last, and you can install it on any floor. Whether you install it over concrete or in a humid basement, this is the perfect solution for environments that challenge traditional solid hardwood floors.

This product features longer board lengths to create more visual continuity over the flooring area, so you avoid clustered joint sections, which means your room feels grand and looks spacious. Long, random board lengths give your floor a more natural feel when compared to fixed board length products. Superior offers the longest average board lengths in the flooring industry.

This Heritage Grade floor is extraordinary, diverse, and full of character. Heritage Grade has all the features of Superior Select but also includes an allowance for pin holes, checking, heavy mineral streaking, large, filled knots that can be up to two inches in diameter and a pith that is natural character from the center of the tree.

Ash wears well (1320 Janka rating) and scratches and dents are less noticeable than in other species. There is a strong grain pattern in the Ash, and this hides natural imperfections well. There is a lot of natural color variation from a pale straw color, to a dark brown, which gives it a livelier appearance than maple.

Each plank is finished with Superior’s Water Clear™ Finish. This finish is exceptionally clear and smooth with clarity that comes from years of innovation and testing. Superior uses higher quality water-based stains with virtually no VOCs. Their eco-friendly stains and finishes soak into hardwood and bring out the natural color variation and texture of the wood for a beautiful, vibrant floor full of natural color and depth.
